Hatecore Inc. Comes By Their Name Honestly

Do you find yourself wanting to listen to more bands that are influenced by Lamb of God? How about Killswitch Engage or Pantera? Well you’re in luck because there is a new band based out of Akron, Ohio that bring just those kinds of influences and many more. They’re called Hatecore Inc. And as the banner tag suggests you get exactly what the band name suggests. Their latest release ‘Rise Above All’ is out now on Itunes and CDbaby among other outlets and you can check it out on their Facebook page in it’s entirety. It’s chock full of hardcore influenced songs about well….hate. Now I’m not the best person to grade or rate metal of this type as I haven’t listened to it much over time but the potential is there. One of the aggravating things about hardcore in it’s purest form is how every song seems to run together with the shouting vocal style that tends to wear thin for me personally. Hatecore Inc. has managed to blend the hardcore aspect with the thrash elements that does keep the interest going. There is no let up in the heaviness of the album but the one thing I would like to see in future releases is faster tempo songs that put more emphasis on the thrash. Maybe add in a bit more groove to the songs would help out a bit as well. Otherwise if Hatecore Inc. doesn’t put in a measure of progression in their music they could fall into the same trap as many other bands do of not being able to stand out from the crowd for labels to take notice. Give them a listen for yourself and if you’re into any of their influences you’ll probably pick up on things I may have missed. In the meantime here is the video for the track ‘I Kill You’.
